I like to work!!!!

Hi, I'm Jack. I'm a programmer based out of Cleveland, Ohio. I've been writing code for most of my life, and I absolutely love it! I left my job about a year ago to work on r.technology, an incubator I've always wanted to start. Things have been slow over there, and I'm currently pursuing consulting or full time positions to get me closer to my dream of owning a tech incubator and writing code.

On the development side of things, I mostly stick to the front end. I love creativity and the new age of AI tools makes the front end that much more fun (and important!). I'd like to get deeper into backend development, machine learning, and deep tech, but I have a long way to go. I'm currently learning Rust and working on a C Compiler. I hope to share that journey as often as possible

On a personal note, I'm committed to leaving the world better than I found it, and believe that I can use my experiences to help those around me. I'm an advocate for health of all kinds, self love, and hard work. I've struggled with my mental health before, and coding/software development has been where I find my success. I hope to share that passion with the world

Also, I recently found out just how much I enjoy making art (painting, music, and poetry). Another goal of mine is finding a way to pursue my dream of starting a company while still finding space in my life to make art. I'd like to find a balance in my life.

My process is collaborative, so please reach out! I believe the best work comes from a place of curiosity and rigorous experimentation. That's what my incubator is all about. It's a grassroots bootstrapped organization with a bone to pick. We're excited to make some noise and share what we're working on!
